This policy explains how Solar Content Creations (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data, and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). We are the data controller for the information described below.
1. Who we are

2. The information we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form or message us, we collect your name, your email address and/or phone number, any date you give us, and the content of your message.
- Correspondence. Emails, calls and social-media messages between us.
- Project information. Details we need to deliver a booking (for example locations, schedules, and any files you share).
- Technical data. Our hosting provider may log limited technical data such as IP addresses and browser type, to keep the site secure and running.
3. How and why we use it
We only use your data where the law allows. Our lawful bases are:
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — our legitimate interests and taking steps to enter a contract with you.
- To provide the services you book — performance of a contract.
- To keep proper business and tax records — our legal obligations.
- To send you marketing — only where you have given consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, who process it on our instructions:
- Vercel Inc. — Website hosting and delivery (privacy policy).
- Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — Sending enquiry emails (privacy policy).
- Meta Platforms (Instagram) — If you contact us via Instagram (privacy policy).
- Professional advisers, or authorities where we are required to by law.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months if they don’t lead to a booking. Where you become a client, we keep project and financial records for 6 years to meet tax and legal requirements, after which we delete or anonymise them.

7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected, or incomplete data completed;

- ask us to transfer your data to another provider.
